RENT AN E-BIKE IN IRELAND

Cycling doesn’t have to be all lycra shorts and sweating (unless that’s what you’re into). What if we told you you could enjoy all the benefits of a regular bike ride – the cooling breeze, the scenic detours, the fast-pass through traffic – without having your legs turn to jelly at the end? Well, now you can. Welcome to the world of e-bikes. Electric hybrid bikes that turn grunting into gliding. All of the power, less of the pedalling. Powered by Bosch, the battery will allow you to ride for up to an impressive 100 miles on a single charge.

BROAD TERMS

Third party insurance cover is not a legal requirement for e-bikes in Ireland and is not provided. Damage and theft is covered by the renter but is limited to a maximum of €250 in the case of damage caused by a genuine accident and theft whilst the bicycle is locked and secured with all security devices issued and a garda/police report is made. Security deposit for all rentals is €250.


Minimum rental age 16.


EU approved bicycle helmets are included for all riders.


All rental costs are inclusive of tax. Minimum rental charge is 1 hour.


Free cancellation insurance is included automatically. In this case you can cancel up to one week in advance of the start of your rental and receive 100% of your payment as a credit note valid for 12 months from the date of the start of your original rental. If you do not use the credit note within 12 months you will not be eligible for a refund or rental.
